Responsibilities
Missouri River Energy Services (MRES) is seeking a student interested in power generation for a full-time summer position located at our Red Rock Hydroelectric Project in Pella, Iowa. This position begins in mid-May and goes through mid-August.

- Review and revise if needed plant operating procedures.
- Develop lock out tag out templates for major equipment in the plant.
- Continue with the organization of the warehouse.
- General housekeeping duties as needed.
- Support RRHP operations, maintenance activites, and other project needs.
- Receive training in the fundamentals of hydroelectric power generation.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- High School Diploma.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
- Ability to follow safety procedures as well as written and verbal instructions.
- Able to interact and communicate effectively with co-workers and the public.
